OUR CARE
At Wheel of Care, our midwives understand the importance of providing comprehensive support throughout the birth process. We not only offer professional assistance, but we also prioritize providing eco-friendly alternatives throughout the perinatal period. Feel free to ask our midwives for advice on environmentally friendly options.
Our care starts at the beginning of your pregnancy, whether you are a future mother with a partner, or loved one, or a conscious single mother.
During the first consultation, we will create your file and explain our approach. We will also perform a medical examination, including a blood test if necessary, and provide you with a Kind & Gezin pregnancy logbook. You will have ample time to ask any questions you may have.
The frequency of prenatal consultations varies from once a month during the early stages to once a week during the final weeks of pregnancy.
After delivery, our midwives will continue to provide support to you, your baby, and your partner.
During home visits, we prioritize the mother's post-partum physical and mental recovery process, the baby's Guthrie test and weight check, as well as breastfeeding support and monitoring.
All of our midwives follow the "Good Practice" guidelines to ensure that we provide high-quality care.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT AT WHEEL OF CARE?
For this meeting, it's helpful to bring your health insurance sticker and the details of your hospitalization insurance so that we can smoothly handle the administrative side. Additionally, we offer a check-up for both you and your baby, during which we will open your medical file.
