This care is provided in French and in English. 

I invite you to receive a care moment, inspired by the postnatal traditions from Europe, especially for you, young mother, who is caring for her baby during the first postpartum period (the first 3 months after birth).

Your newborn baby needs closeness, contact, comforting arms, human warmth, abundant milk, sweet words, rocking movements, and the feeling of being carried and enveloped...

And you, his mother, his first home, remain his refuge that meets all his needs.

To be that caring mother for your baby, you also need care in return. As you fully dedicate yourself to the needs of your baby, it is essential that there is someone by your side to support you and honour your own needs.

How is it going?

I will come to your home for 3 hours and offer you the following:

• A moment of conversation and listening, accompanied by a local herbal tea and a treat specially adapted for the postnatal period.
• A choice between a sitz bath or a steam bath with medicinal herbs, to care for your perineum and uterus.
• A massage with an oil macerate, an herbal compress for the chest and abdomen, a gentle closing of the abdomen and pelvis.
• A moment of integration and calm.

If you wish, your baby's presence is warmly welcomed during this care, which honours the unity of Mamatoto (the mother-baby dyad). I adapt to your needs and the demands of breastfeeding. The presence of the co-parent or a trusted person nearby to care for your baby is greatly appreciated, so you can take some time to reconnect with yourself.

Prior to the care, you will first have a phone call with our doula Vanessa. During this conversation, you can discuss your expectations together and find a suitable time to plan this wonderful care.
